She was born in Denver Colorado, went to school in Boulder for her English Literature degree, and now lives in Aurora. Ashley loves worldly dances, foods, music, and emerges herself in cultural social dances/events. She can be found volunteering at several organizations such as the museum, women shelters, and refugee assistant associations. Some activities Ashley enjoys include dancing, reading, knitting, playing guitar, and traveling.

She’s been in Colorado since 2009, and currently pursuing her BS in English. She promotes women empowerment through different activities in our community; and works with different non-profit organizations to help in integration of new immigrants and refugees.
Niclette Mujinga Tchombele
Multi lingual ability: French, English, Lingala, and Swahili; she can understand, write and read them correctly. She was pursuing a degree in Psycho – pedagogy in Congo DRC, but had to flee the country due to civil war. She got a leadership certificate at Mwange Refugee Camp/ Zambia Mporokoso in 2008. She’s also a Certified Nurse Assistant. She had been a teacher at Refugee Mwange Camp/ Zambia from 2008-2010 (World Vision). Currently, she is pursuing her study in Paralegal program.

He is a multi- lingual fluent in 4 different languages, born in Kiwanja, North Kivu, on March 23rd. He holds a bachelor degree in Politic Science administrative. He fled the D R Congo in 2008 due to civil war to find refuge in Kampala, Uganda. Mr. Kasambi was one of the Elders of a local church in Uganda, and he helped build satellites churches throughout Uganda. In 2012, the 27th day of December he lost his wife along the way due to a heart attack. He was resettled in the USA later on, he went from New York, California to settle in Colorado.
